A sensational effort, especially after enduring a freak accident resulting in two of the crew, Amory Ross and Charles Darlin to sustain injuries. Amory was thrown from the galley into a bulk head, shattering his shoulder in the process while Charles sustained a mild head injury. Both were retired from any racing for a number of days, meaning the crew of three had to run their shifts too.
