Starting the Second leg of the Ocean Race, chasing a faster boat we left Cabo Verde heading to Cape Town, a short leg with not much to report, the team arrived into Cape town in third place. A gap begins to appear on the scoreboard between us and the leaders.
Leaving South Africa for the first of the Longer legs, the team was excited to reset, yet shortly after starting the race the team broke part of the rigging, causing an on the water fix and subsequent delay to start.
